Who Needs a Drum....

When you have a wipes box? I have been dying to get Molly one of these:


But she'd rather play with her wipes box and I am afraid I will spend $20.00 for no reason.

She had a TON of fun with her wipes box today--almost too much!

We also went outside and hung out together with Shelby. She loves to be outside, but we didn't stay out for too long because I need to get her some sunscreen so her beautiful skin doesn't get burnt!

I got Molly some books yesterday and we read them together. She loves the touch and feel books, especially this one:



It has a super hairy super soft chimpanzee---she loves to just leave the page open and touch the chimpanzee. I also got her "Are you my mother", which she has managed to chew part of the cover off of already. Luckily I noticed she was eating it before she managed to nom on it too much.

Oh and I had a "Bad Mom Moment" today. Molly is a super fast crawler and usually has a mission as to where she is going. Today she was crawling full bore towards the wall and I was thinking that she was going after the air conditioning vent, so I just watched her. Instead, she got distracted and crawled right into the wall! That caused instant tears and I swooped her up and cuddled her. She has a tiny bruise on the side of her head that is a reminder of it though---it breaks my heart! Poor Molly.

Other than the minor crawling fender bender, we had a good day over all. She's currently sleeping on her own (big win on my part) and she was very happy for most of today.
