I have a hard time getting good photos of Molly as of recently, because the above is what she does. I've tried everything (besides duct taping her little booty to the floor) to get her to stay in one place, to no avail.
I was SO EXCITED when she first started crawling, encouraging her and showing her what to do. Now I wish she would slow down and take time to smell the roses every once in a while! She's a crazy person.
She spent most of the day crying today because a) she didn't feel well & b) we were visiting people and she is not a people person. My dad makes faces at her, and she apparently is not a fan of his faces because she screams as loud as one can imagine a child screaming when she sees him. This is not the response I would imagine when a child sees their grandparents. I always thought babies had this "intuition" and somehow knew who their family members were---apparently not. At least I know she will never wander off with a stranger, she clung to me like white on rice today.
Oh, and here is reason number 1892103472408.2 that I need more sleep- I was reading through old posts and realized I've said "We have fun, can you tell?" like 6 times in the past week. Did you know that Molly and I have fun? Can you tell?
Anyway, I wanted to show off her new hat that I got from Mimis Babies, a wonderful chick that I met through twitter. Isn't it cute?
I hope you all had a great weekend :) I didn't even realize today was Sunday....

I thought it was a theme for this week, "Can you tell we have fun?" Haha. Oh how I wish I forgot when the weekdays started.
My son also will not sit still for picture so we have lots of "action" shots from the past month!!
Molly will grow out of the stranger danger thing. Marley went through a few weeks of this with my IL's and I felt so bad. I finally dropped her off at their house and went out for a few hours without her. I know, I'm mean, but shoe got over it within a few minutes and was great with them. Try to have you Dad hang out around more often (if you can). Maybe join a playgroup or something too? I promise she will grow out of it, but she will need some encouragement. =0)
Gosh, Molly is soo cute!! I am scared of Jackson crawling. I just know he'll be a crazy little hellion! He is already so curious. I love LOVE the hat too! So adorable!
So cute. She'll grow out of that phase.
She'll also get used to people. All in good time. Not to worry.
All I can say is thank God for digital photography!!! Loved the pics. I have plenty of pics where all I want my daughter to do is look INTO the camera and SMILE!! I mean, is that really too much to ask?!?! ;-p
Your blog is the cutest thing. I love checking in and seeing what adorable piece of fashion you'll have Molly sporting! And I love that she's crawling right out of your camera view. She's all, "Mom, I'm BUSY!"
I think the top photo is super funny!!
that hat is super adorable! sorry you have been feeling down today- it sounds like a stressful day :(
I LOVE that hat! So darling! I can remember those days of not getting enough sleep and having a crazy crawler! Hang in there! Your daughter is a doll by the way! :-)
There's an award waiting for you on my blog!
Thank you for stopping by my blog! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the hat, it's too cute! :)
It could be worse, you know - you could've complained about something over and over again! At least you were saying something nice - it's GREAT that you have fun and it does show! :)
That's what being a mom is all about. Having fun.
Go ahead... and keep saying it!
That hat is too cute!
