The Sadie Hawkins Dance, In my Khaki Pants
I swear the outside video was after the inside one, I wouldn't put a dirty blanket over her head :)
Puppy Love
This would be a cool toy if it worked!
It's "Face"book. Not "Business" book.
I am by no means declaring myself a social media expert, but I have been wondering lately---what is the point of having your "business" on facebook? By business I don't mean personal business, I mean companies. What is the point of a company being on Facebook?
I see Facebook as a way tostalk keep track of old friends who you may or may not want to keep in touch with. When people invite me to fan things I tend to not pay attention or I fan the page and then never go back to it.
Honestly, it was kind of nice when there weren't companies on Facebook---when it was just groups and college kids. I kind of thought MySpace was the place where one would, how shall I put it..."Pimp themselves out" and Facebook was for, well, social networking.
Another thing---I was considering setting up a fan page for D-Listed through Facebook, but fan pages take a lot of work and it's just one more thing to check during the day (and honestly, I don't have time for it, I really don't). In thinking about it, I thought about how it would be used. Would it garner more attention for D-Listed? Not really, because the people I would invite to be fans would probably already be members. So, I decided against the staple Facebook Fan page for my new venture. I think I can get my point across better on other mom blogs and Twitter.
What do you think? Do you use Facebook to follow businesses or friends or both? I can't see how having a facebook fan page is an effective way of marketing....but maybe I am missing something.

I told you she looked cute today....
See?
I got a great video of her yelling at me, I'll have to upload it. We've been working on words, but all she wants to do is say "BABABA" and blow raspberries, so she's obviously not there yet!
